40 representatives from 17 enterprises of 9 countries and regions including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan visited Xi'an Qujiang International Conference Centre, Xi’an Silk Road International Exhibition Center, Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Park, Forest of Stone Steles Museum and Sanxue Street during Asia Pacific Customer / Supplier Business Seminar of 2018 International Congress and Convention Association.

In early morning, the delegation was given an experience lesson by their Tai Chi teacher, starting their visit with the martial arts exercise of a strong oriental characteristic. After the lesson, the representatives excitedly said that Tai Chi seemed very simple but it turned out very difficult when you actually tried it, in which you can truly feel the profound Chinese culture.

The delegation visited Xi'an Qujiang International Conference Centre and made a high praise on its size and service. The Xi'an Qujiang International Conference Centre is a comprehensive international convention center which integrates with conference, exhibition, show, feast and others, winning more than 50 exhibition industry and government awards. In 2015, the Xi'an Qujiang International Conference Centre formally joined in ICCA and became a member of International Congress and Convention Association.

The Xi’an Silk Road International Exhibition Center under construction was highly praised by the delegation. The construction of the first stage will be completed in 2019, and it will come into service in 2020. It will be a large-scale comprehensive exhibition platform providing exhibition, conference, exchange and trade for areas, cities and countries along the Silk Road.

Jiang Shiming, a member of the delegation, says: “I feel China is developing so fast after visiting the exhibition hall, and these venues are well-designed enough to use for at least 20 to 30 years, the long-sight for developing and reasonable collocation has impressed me.”

The delegation visited the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Park, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, Sanxue Street and other scenic areas. The terracotta soldiers and horses of the Qin Dynasty which are known as “eighth wonder of the world” amazed the representatives, and one member of the delegation exclaimed with wonders, “I never would have expected such enormous army hidden in the underground, it is unbelievable.”

Forest of Stone Steles Museum, the first museum collecting ancient stone stela with largest amounts in China, shocked the delegation with the exceptional culture displayed. The delegation members even dare not speak loudly when walking in and through the stone stela, showing respect for the profound culture.

During the visit, members of the delegation not only felt the long history and culture of Xi'an, but also witnessed the vitality of modern Xi'an.
