A must-see scenic spot on the Yellow River Tourism Belt, Shaohua Mountain National Forest Park

Shaohua Mountain National Forest Park is a tourism scenic spot with ecotourism, leisure and mountaineering as the theme, located on the gold tourism line in the eastern Shaanxi Province.

The park is located at the northern foot of Qinling Mountain, 5 kilometers away from Huaxian County to the southeast direction, Shaanxi Province. It is about 10 kilometers wide from east to west, and 35 km from north to south, covering a total area of 6,300 hectares. The park is comprised of these five major scenic spots: Red Cliff Lake Scenic Area, Shimen Gorge Scenic Area, Jungle Valley Scenic Area, Qianlong Temple Scenic Spot, and Shaohua Peak Scenic Spot.

The scenic area has towering peaks, dense forests, magical huge stones, flowing river ups and downs, spectacular waterfall, green lakes and abundant animal and plant resources. Its altitude is about 530-2,491 meters, and forest coverage more than 90%.

Qianlong Temple inside the scenic area has a history of more than 2,000 years, having been retained from the Eastern Han Dynasty till now. It is the earliest royal monastery in China, known as the "first monastery."

Direct bus:
At Xi' an Textile Town station, every morning 8:00 am, one direct bus starts and directly drives to Shaohua Mountain, and drives back at 5:00 in the afternoon to Xi'an.
